2 Mo. providers hospitalized after ambulance struck, flips

ST. LOUIS — Two EMS providers were transported to the hospital after a crash with another vehicle while turning at an intersection,

The driver and passenger in the personal vehicle were also transported.

According to St. Louis police, the ambulance had its lights and siren activated during a turn at an intersection when the passenger vehicle struck the rig, flipping it on its side.

No patients were on board the ambulance at the time of the incident.
