MIAMI 鈥� A construction worker was injured after a water main ruptured, flooding a tunnel, Miami-Dade Sheriff鈥檚 Office spokesperson Angel Rodriguez said.
The man was trapped inside underground for several minutes around 10:22 p.m. Monday near Southwest 120th Avenue and 220th Street, Rodriguez said.

He was knocked unconscious during the incident, according to Rodriguez. His co-workers pulled him from the tunnel, initiated CPR and called authorities.
Miami-Dade Sheriff鈥檚 Office deputies and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue crews responded to the construction site, and an ambulance crew took him to the trauma center at Jackson South Medical Center . The man, who was not identified, was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
There was no additional information available as of Tuesday afternoon, Rodriguez said. A spokesperson for Fire Rescue didn鈥檛 have more details about the incident.
